Responsible gambling
Gambling is paid entertainment, not a way to make money. If it is putting pressure on you, free and confidential help exists.
Signs that play is getting out of hand
- You play to win back earlier losses.
- You stake money meant for bills or rent.
- You hide how much you play from people close to you.
- You borrow to play.
- You feel irritable when you try to stop.
Limits that work
- Set a monthly amount before opening an account and do not change it after a loss.
- Set a time limit per session.
- Do not play when tired, upset or after drinking.
- Use the operator's deposit limit and self-exclusion tools.
Why the licence matters
HGC-licensed operators must offer deposit, time and loss limits and self-exclusion, and do not accept players under 21. With an operator that has no Greek licence, such as Spinanga, these tools depend on its own policy.

With no deposit or loss limits, the only control is the one you set yourself: at your bank or in your wallet. The complaints on record include players who asked for self-exclusion and say it was not applied. Request it in writing and keep a copy.
